This brochure gives the bird’s eye view of a Science Institution started in 2008, at a place called HASSAN, Karnataka, famous for the location of (MCF) Master Control facility of ISRO. NAMASTE (National Level Mathematics And Science Talent Examination) started by a bunch of Science motivators (Post graduates in Science and Doctorates in Science ) who felt strongly the need of such an institution in the present scenario of dwindling interest in basic sciences among the youngsters. The goal of NAMASTE is to popularize the utility of science for the progress and prosperity of the young students who have been carried away by the attraction of professional courses and lost interest towards the basic sciences.

NAMASTE has started working towards achieving its goal by multifaceted approach. The institute has three wings. The first wing concentrates on popularization of science (free of cost) through scientific lectures by its experienced Science teachers at a place/college/school, whoever wishes to have such a programme. The second wing concentrates on demonstrating/ training science experiments for young children at its premises through telescopes, periscopes, interferometers, etc  The  third wing concentrates on conducting competitive exams (in Mathematics, Science and Science related GK) at state and national levels every year for III standard to II PU / plus2 students. Medals / Certificates and prizes like lap tops will be presented to the toppers in the competitive exams to encourage the young students.

The pattern / level of questions set at the competitive examinations are very good standard and trains the student to face the other competitive examinations like NTSE, AIEEE, IIT-JEE, AIIMS, CAT, GMAT, GRE with confidence. The kid who writes NAMASTE EXAM AT 3rd STANDARD CAN CONTINUE TO WRITE THE EXAM UP TO PU LEVEL EVERY YEAR so that the kid gains confidence to face the present day challenge in getting good ranking where ever it is needed.

Keeping in view the above said goal of NAMASTE, we request  the Heads of the Institutions/ Teachers/ Parents to motivate the students to participate in NAMASTE examination and join our hands in building a great Scientific community of Scientists, Engineers and Doctors in our country so that vision 2020 of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam should become a reality.
